Armor of earth... +armor, or set armor?
I've noticed that in the description for Armor of Earth, it says you gain x armor, where x is dependent on your earth magic level. At max earth skill, it's 62 armor... which seems like a lot for one spell.
So I wondered if the armor 'gained' was a boost to current armor, or a replacement altogether... Armor of Mist has +x armor, instead of a flat x, which makes me think that it does indeed cover up your current AL and replaces it with the new number. From what I've seen in combat, I cannot tell whether or not this is true... but I DO get hit for less... if 2 armor really makes much of a difference...
Anyways, help appreciated. Thank you~
Edit: found a way to test it... reduced a sand drake's aftershock from 105 to 35. So unless 2 armor make 70 points' difference, I think this is just an error in the spell description.
